Types of Climate:

Desert - Receive less than 10 inches of rain per year. Hot deserts regularly have low humidity and high temperatures during the day. At night, temperatures drop. Cold deserts are found in the mid-latitudes mostly in th Nothern Hemisphere. Summer temperatures range from warm to hot and winter temperatures range from cool to freezing

Semiarid - Receives precipitation, but not much. Summers are hot and winters are mild to cold. Some areas produce snow. Climate is found in the interior of continents or zone around deserts. Region contains some of the most productive agriculture lands in the world.

In Sudan's climate there is never really a drastic change in temperature, but the precipitation has kind of a drastic change from like July-September. The climate here is more constant and in the United States, well at least in Texas the climate is drastic.
